Madeline and Daddy drove the boat today from Lincoln Harbor in New Jersey to the Beach Club. We were accompanied by another 'Captain Matt' (Matt Moorman) who helped us with the lines while we got the 81 foot White Eagle out of Lincoln Harbor which has only 100 feet of width in the channels between the boat piers. A new iPhone application helped Daddy time the tides at Hell gate on the East River so the currents helped us make the trip in under four hours. Another new iPhone ap allowed Daddy to monitor the maps with his new hand held chart plotter which combined NOAA charts with the GPS on his Apple toy. This turned out to be quite a value added feature since Daddy is still struggling to get any one of the three generators on the boat working :(
